MAHENGE GARNET
These radiant gems exhibit an array of colors from rich plums and pinks to the elusive and highly-sought after peach, which has become nearly impossible to find. Mahenge Garnets hail from Mahenge, Tanzania, and the material is no longer available. Each stone is hand-selected and faceted to be of the utmost standards. These beautiful, show-stopping gems are a unique and colorful addition to any jewelry collection. Garnet is the birthstone for January, and the gemstone for Aquarius and Aries. It is the gem for the 2nd, 15th and 19th anniversaries. Garnets have fair to good toughness, and a hardness of 6.5–7.5, making them very durable for everyday wear with proper care.
