Mary has such an impeccable eye for color. Her pieces are empowering and always make me feel ready for anything. I am the talk of the town whenever I am out- and I can’t lie, I love the attention and adoration her pieces bring. I also love being unique in a sea of monotony.

GARNET

Garnet is an “allochromatic” gemstone, which means it can be found in just about any color- including clear, blue and green. Red garnet is one of the most common and widespread of gems. Thousands of years ago, red garnets adorned Egypt’s pharaohs, and were entombed with their corpses as highly prized possessions for the afterlife. In ancient Rome, carved garnets in signet rings were used to stamp wax that sealed important documents. Garnet is the birthstone for January, and the gemstone for Aquarius and Aries. It is the gem for the 2nd, 15th and 19th anniversaries. Garnets have fair to good toughness, and a hardness of 6.5–7.5, making them very durable for everyday wear with proper care. More about Garnet HERE.
