Apatite is a naturally occurring mineral, and is quite an underrated beauty. It is scarcely known, but is a stone of intoxicating color that is highly prized by true collectors. Apatite comes in electric hues such as yellow and green, and a variety of other shades. One of the most prized shades is “neon blue”, rivaling that of another very rare and famous gemstone, Paraiba Tourmaline.
