COLOR-CHANGE GARNET
Color-change garnets are an exciting and colorful variety of garnet which change color under different lighting. Lake Manyara, Tanzania, produced a handful of these spectacular gems which change from velvet purple to rich pink. These garnets are a true rarity, and are absolutely natural, with no enhancements. Garnet is January’s birthstone, and the gem for the 2nd, 15th and 19th anniversaries. It leads to success and inspires love. Garnets hardness is 6.5-7.5, making it durable for everyday wear. MAHENGE SPINEL
Mahenge Spinel was found in 2007, and is a very rare gemstone famous for it's intense hot-pink color. As a matter of fact, the color is so saturated it is said to actually glow! Mahenge Spinel is found only in Mahenge, Tanzania, and is very sought-after by collectors. Spinel is a colorful, natural gem that has recently been inducted as an August birthstone. It is also the gem for the 22nd anniversary, and is believed to encourage great passion, devotion and longevity.
