SPHENE
Sphene is a very rare, incredibly sparkly, collector’s gemstone. It is found in yellowish-green, green, orange or brown colors, and is known as “titanite” in the mineral world. It has more “fire” than a diamond because it has one of the highest dispersions of any gemstone. It’s this high dispersion that gives Sphene such an intense “fire,” showcasing multiple colors, especially when it’s well-cut. A true rarity in the gemstone world. APATITE
Apatite is a naturally occurring mineral, and is quite an underrated beauty. It is scarcely known, but is a stone of intoxicating color that is highly prized by true collectors. Apatite comes in electric hues such as yellow and green, and a variety of other shades. One of the most prized shades is “neon blue”, rivaling that of another very rare and famous gemstone, Paraiba Tourmaline. Apatite is said to decrease hunger, and enhance unconditional love and insight. It is the gemstone for the zodiac sign Gemini, and has a hardness of 5.0. This gemstone requires special care and is not suited for everyday wear.
